Located alongside major health, education and community facilities, the station plays an important role in connecting people to employment, services and opportunities across the region.

As part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail program, the station was relocated and upgraded to improve accessibility, safety and connectivity while supporting future growth along the rail corridor. The project sought to create a modern transport gateway that better serves the needs of the surrounding community and provides stronger connections across the rail line.

Fennec Studio's team led the landscape and public realm design and documentation, shaping a station environment that prioritises accessibility, legibility and user experience. Improved walking and cycling connections, accessible station entries and enhanced public spaces work together to create a more welcoming and intuitive journey for passengers arriving at and departing from the station.

The design recognises that transport infrastructure is about more than movement. It is about providing equitable access to the places people rely on every day. By improving connections to nearby health, education and community facilities, the project strengthens the role of Loganlea Station as an important gateway for the local community and the broader region.
