Spanning more than 40 hectares, the precinct brings together parklands, community facilities, sporting venues, entertainment destinations and civic services within the heart of Logan Central.

Fennec Studio's team led the development of the urban design framework and precinct plan, exploring how a collection of disconnected assets could evolve into a cohesive, vibrant and people-focused destination. The plan sought to improve connectivity, unlock underutilised public spaces and create a stronger sense of identity across the precinct while responding to community aspirations for improved safety, amenity and activation.

Rather than focusing on individual projects, the plan considered how public investment could work together over time to deliver meaningful change. New connections, upgraded public spaces, enhanced recreational opportunities and improved access to community facilities were brought together within a clear and achievable implementation framework.

The precinct plan demonstrates the power of strategic design to shape the future of a city. By establishing a shared vision for Logan Central, it has helped guide investment, unlock future projects and create a roadmap for a more connected, vibrant and inclusive community destination.
