Set within a corridor defined by waterways, wetlands and established neighbourhoods, the project demanded a landscape response that carefully balanced transport infrastructure with environmental and community outcomes. Working closely with engineering, environmental and construction disciplines, the design was developed to support both movement and place.

Drawing inspiration from Yugambeh Country, the local Theme Parks, and the Gold Coast's relaxed lifestyle and enduring relationship with water, the landscape and urban design celebrate the character of the region while responding to its unique environmental setting. Revegetation, active transport connections, wildlife-sensitive design measures and integrated infrastructure treatments work together to create a corridor that is both functional and memorable.

The outcome is a transport corridor that strengthens connections, supports future growth and responds to the unique character of the Gold Coast.
