Spanning 130 metres, the bridge strengthens connections between emerging neighbourhoods while establishing a distinctive new identity for this part of the development.

Fennec Studio developed the landscape and public realm design for the eastern bridge approach, creating a seamless transition between the bridge structure and the surrounding community. Guided by the project's reference design and broader master planning vision, the landscape response was carefully integrated with the approach infrastructure to support movement, comfort and placemaking.

The design incorporates generous pedestrian and cycle connections, shade planting and high-quality public realm outcomes that encourage everyday use and active movement. Planting and landscape elements were selected and arranged to complement the bridge's elegant form while reinforcing its role as a community landmark and destination.

The completed project demonstrates how landscape and infrastructure can work together to create places that are both functional and memorable. More than a crossing, the bridge has become a recognisable part of Aura's identity and a valued connection within the growing community.
